This page documents the version of Sgm that accompanies
Motif 1.2.
DDDDEEEESSSSCCCCRRRRIIIIPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNN
This man pages describes new resources added to the Motif
Scale widget by SGI. To get these resources you need to
#define __sgi in your application.
For a description of the XmScale widget non-SGI resources
see the XmScale man page.

The following table defines a set of widget resources used
by the programmer to specify data. The programmer can also
set the resource values for the inherited classes to set
attributes for this widget. To reference a resource by name
or by class in a .Xdefaults file, remove the XXXXmmmmNNNN or XXXXmmmmCCCC
prefix and use the remaining letters. To specify one of the
defined values for a resource in a .Xdefaults file, remove
the XXXXmmmm prefix and use the remaining letters (in either
lowercase or uppercase, but include any underscores between
words). The codes in the access column indicate if the
given resource can be set at creation time (C), set by using
XXXXttttSSSSeeeettttVVVVaaaalllluuuueeeessss (S), retrieved by using XXXXttttGGGGeeeettttVVVVaaaalllluuuueeeessss (G), or is
not applicable (N/A).

Specifies the visual representation of the slider.
This can take on the values XmETCHED_LINE, the
default; XmSHADOWED, meaning there is no single
etched line across the center of the slider; and
XmFLAT_FOREGROUND, meaning there is no etched line
and there are no shadows on the edges of the
slider.

XXXXmmmmNNNNsssslllliiiiddddiiiinnnnggggMMMMooooddddeeee
Specifies the way the slider shows the current
value. This can take on the values XmSLIDER, the
default, meaning that the slider moves back and
forth within the trough to show the value; and
XmTHERMOMETER, meaning that the slider is anchored
to one end of the trough and it grows and shrinks
to show the value.
XXXXmmmmNNNNeeeeddddiiiittttaaaabbbblllleeee
Specifies whether the scale widget acts upon user
input. Setting this to False makes the scale
widget insensitive to user input but not greyed
out as if XmNsensitive was used.
